Overall Responsibility: Receiving, storing and retrieving all non-bulk items required for the manufacturing and selling of feed and related products. Additionally, this operator assists with the feed manufacturing operations.

Key Duties:

• Unload and record the receipt of inbound material. Verify actual receipts to orders. Correct and communicate discrepancies of quantity or damaged product.
• Place materials in proper locations, protect the quality of all products, record these locations for efficient retrieval.
• Pick materials required for production and outbound orders. Make required inventory transactions. Move these materials to the required location.
• Load outbound materials into company owned or customer vehicles.
• Monitor all material stored in the warehouse for quality, inventory rotation and accuracy. Ensure equipment and material is safely stored and handled.
• Monitor the inventory levels in the production and retail areas. Replenish these areas as needed with product from the warehouse.
• Ensures that forklifts and equipment are in safe and good condition, report or repair any defects.
• Ensures safety compliance
• Accurately completes and maintains assigned reports, logs and documents.
• Makes sure work area is neat and clean.

Requirements:

• HSED or GED preferred
• Good attention to detail
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Forklift experience
